I think that if there was a world record for being unlucky then I would have the award, certificate, and all. Let's start with my Nightfalls. In every Nightfall I do I get the exact same rocket launcher every time. The dead orbit rocket launcher that fires void rockets that track targets. Every single time I do the nightfall. The only different drop I have ever gotten from the nightfall was a legendary which, with the help of the Trollarch, was promptly turned into two ascendant energies. That alone is very, very, very unlucky. However I digress. Let's move on to crucible. Simply put I have never in my entire career seen a legendary or exotic drop for me in crucible. However I have seen multiple exotics given away in one match. Then there's the Trollarch, the greatest villain in Destiny. Ever since the supposed, "buff" to his drop rates he has since given me two blues in each and every package since I have leveled him 4 times since then. I have never gotten a legendary engram, or an exotic for that matter from anywhere but where your guaranteed. For instance exotic bounties. Xander is the only person at the tower who loves me. Every other day I get an exotic bounty. (Shout out to my boy!) Even then that 5 out of all the other possible exotics in the game. Or there's the Xur. Don't get me wrong I love the little squid faced guy, but all I want is a new helm for my warlock. I'm sick and tired of sun breakers and void fang, EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. EVERY. WEEK. OK now lets talk about raids. I do the raid every week on all three characters, and what do I have to show for it. Ascendant materials, epilogue, and chatter white. I have never gotten anything other than those (aside from the occasional armor) from both Crota and Aetheon. Now what I have told you is the truth and only the truth. Just to clarify I have never gotten a legendary or an exotic from anything other than Xur and Exotic bounties. Now thats not even the kicker, and keep in mind what I'm about to say is completely and utterly true. I've bought a helmet engram from Xur every time. You know what I got? 5 -blam!-ING Helm of Inmost lights. You know the only character I don't have? That's right a titan. Do you know the chances of this happening five times in a row? Well I did the math. It's a 0.0001% chance. (Do the math) The most statistically amazing thing I have every seen in my life. Now there's my friend Cody. His total earnings in the raid (not including the crazy amount of legendaries he racks in) is, a red death, last word, and three multi-tools. In Crucible he has had a truth, icebreaker, and patience in time. In the Night fall he has gotten a mask of the third man, helm of inmost, suros, and armantarium (is that how you spell it? I'm to ranty to look it up) and the Trollarch has given him 6 exotics. Now bare in mind this. His total hours in destiny in 158 as of today. Wanna guess mine? My total hours played is 218 as of today. I do all the nightfalls on all my characters, I do the raid three to four more times than him, and open quadruple the engrams. What I'm telling you is pure, unexaggerated truth. So give me reason why I don't deserve that award. And feel free to leave a comment, or let me know if you have better/ worse luck. Rant over.
