I found this amazing(ly complicated) theory that the Chief is the iso-Didact. If you heard of it, what do you think? If not, look it up! It actually sounds really cool.

No, but remember in halo CE Guilty Spark told Chief, "You once asked me if it were my choice, would I do it, my answer remains the same, protocol must be followed," This links chief to bornstellar in some way, doesn't it.

Well, he can't be the IsoDidact because he went on the Great Journey and isn't even human. There is a significant connection between the two though, that's for sure.

Yeah, I'm talking about how the Librarian more or less cloned the Iso Didact's mind and put it in the Chief.

Not exactly how the theory has been phrased. It's the idea that Chief is imprinted with the IsoDidact's personality in his geas.
