I cannot say enough how much I agree with this review.
In one article, Polygon has collected all of the critiques, problems, issues, and missteps that your own community has been calling you out for, Bungie. 'The Dark Below' is a series of mistakes, hugely mad choices, and systems instituted that punish your players. Yet through it all, you are silent.
Is it really so difficult to admit that you not only made a mistake, but that your DLC is nothing but a series of extremely bad mistakes?
You're punishing your own community for playing your own game. How did any of these ideas make it out of the planning meetings? Surely someone spoke up and said that these aren't going to go over well. Did the rest of the development team just shout that poor guy down and tell him that they just don't care? What happened?
Whatever the chaos and idiocies ruled those planning meetings, they can be reversed. Polygon has collected and promoted the most common sense approach and fixes to the game you are actively destroying with the last few patches and this DLC.
I strongly suggest having your entire development team wallpaper their working areas with this review. Put the list of changes/fixes up on those absurdly huge screen you use to monitor how the game is doing. Whatever you need to do to turn this ship around.
Because unlike the last time you had DeeJ talk to us before the DLC dropped and there was community furor; you cannot simply disregard this as "misinformation angering the community".
We've had the chance to play and explore this trainwreck of a DLC, and it is almost universally despised by Gamers and Professionals alike.
Listen to us, Bungie.
Fix. This. Game.

Seriously, no one could have made a call to Blizzard to get some help with this new-fangled MMO thing? You know, since they're partnered with Activi$ion as well and happen to run the most popular and populated MMO ever?
