These were all released around the same time, and I swapped between them frequently. Is it wrong for me to enjoy these games?

You said it. Ac 2 and brotherhood was the peak of the ac series. Liberation was good too but went downhill from there. Halo 3 4 life

I thought AC 4 was amazing as well. 3 was decent, but not wow-factor. Unity was ok, but the story was pretty boring. And Rogue I thought was more so an expansion to 4, but I loved it much more than Unity. [spoiler]Halo 3 is life.[/spoiler]

I have black flag and unity but haven't played them yet

Black Flag is great. Unity is ok, not bad, but not that great either.

Ya black flag seems like an interesting story, hope I can immerse myself in it soon. Really wanna just play on some ships :)
