LFG of EST raiders to face what lurks in The Dark Below. Is EST a must? No. EST is just what works out best for my schedule and chances are yours as well if you are reading this post. Compromise is a must for a team to be successful together, so no EST is not a requirement.
Patience with others is a must. No screamers. No tantrums. The clan mission statement is our group mission statement, and Bungies forum code of conduct does apply. Violations will be met with the banhanmer/swift ninja justice. In a community of friendly, mature gamers this should not be an issue.
I will need to know your character class, level, and a little about your load out and weapons arsenal. I will also need to know everyone's preferred raid times and general gaming schedule.
My schedule: Usually 2 shorter gaming sessions per day and 1 extended evening session totaling around 5 hours per day on average. During this time I am available to team up on bounties, quests, strikes, etc.
My usual shut down time is around 11-11:30 on most nights. I'm a husband and a father first and with 2 small kids late nights don't mix well with how I run my home. Typically I will not be gaming during the hours that my kids are awake or during family time. I understand the grind and time commitments that go into this game, but this is what I have to offer the team.
I am also looking for some experienced 29's (although not many per raid) for the occasional VoG run. The goal here is to help our newer clanmates and lead people who have never completed the vault of glass through the raid.
For the primary raid team we will focus on the Expansion I and facing Crota in The Dark Below. For Alpha team we only want level 30+ raiders who can commit to 1 or 2 raids per week lasting 2-3 hours per raid. Probably just one run to start with, but more time will be needed as we grow as a team and gain the XP needed to kill what the hive call a god.
Team members have to be able to listen and handle constructive criticism when needed. Everyone can't be in charge at the same time. The team leader position can rotate until we select a permanent leader, or it can stay on a rotating schedule so that everyone becomes experienced with calling the shots and implementing strategies.
Please read up on the raid and watch videos to better prepare for what we will face as a team. We are only as strong as our weakest link, and knowledge is power! Please bring your best gear and weapons. Please focus on getting to level 31 ASAP. Above all else, have fun.
If you only care about perfection and throw little tantrums when someone makes a mistake, we may not be for you or your KD ratio. I care about assists and teamwork more than I care about your kill count. Yes, we want to succeed but real life and family will always come first in this team. Always.
Last, I just need to get to know you in order to slot you. We need to run some stuff in small teams and as a 6 man team, and I want to know a little about you. I'm retired military. I have a wife and 2 kids. During my career I served as a combat infantryman on numerous combat tours, now I work for myself and focus on my family when not pushing back the darkness on Destiny.
Thanks!

Sgt, I'd like to join. I've got a 30 hunter with a pretty good loadout of weapons.I actually am interested in continuing to do VoG because I need more shards to get to 31 and to get my warlock to 29 & 30. I'm on in the evening (est) after 9 or 10, depending on if the wife wants to watch TV. I have not done the new raid, but am ready to take that on with a good (emotionally stable) crew like what you described.
