What was the surgery on your ear for? And yeah breaking ribs must result catastrophic pain.

I had a burst ear drum I believe it was 12 years ago but I've had so many ear surgeries over the years due to having ear drums that are in the wrong place just ever so slightly.

That's unfortunate. How are your ear drums not in the right place?

Just born that way they are a little closer to the exterior than most ear drums. Not out like you can see them just more than most.

What problems occur from that happening?

Well I'm no expert as I get the lehmans explanation of it all but I'm currently 24 and still have tubes. I believe that it is more exposed to infections. My ears pop every time I swallow. I get more ear infections than usual. Just little stuff like that. It's just bothersome but hey more people with worse problems so I consider myself very blessed regardless.
