Number one was a spinal tap. That shit hurts I won't even go there.
Second was when I was at a dirt jump park on my hardtail mountain bike (I miss it so much that was such a sweet set up) and as I was doing a certain trick called a tabletop (which is basically getting your bike sideways, parallel with the ground) on a hip transfer. I misjudged the landing and my front wheel clipped the top of the landing ramp and I fell straight onto my shoulder.
Mind you the top of this landing ramp is a good 8 or 9 feet in the air, along with me coming down from the 15 feet of air I had accumulated. So that's basically 24 feet, straight down onto my shoulder.
It destroyed most of the ligaments in my shoulder and the labrum I think it's called? It's basically what keeps your shoulder in place. My arm was dislocated and was pulled so far out of place the skin on my finger tips was torn. Had to have surgery and months of rehab. Still bothers me to this day.

Edited by sola gratia: 12/14/2014 8:54:28 PMOh Christ..the pain must've been unbearable, for both spinal tap and the bike incident.

I got a good scar from the surgery at least, to accompany my many others. And girls like scars, so it wasn't all bad.
-
Lol, atleast it's only a scar and nothing worse.

Edited by ShotgunBlast420: 12/14/2014 8:59:49 PMIt actually is going to hang with me for life. I only have 60 percent mobility in that shoulder now and maybe problems with it down the road. If you ever hurt yourself, it's usually worse to dislocate then it is to break something. And you've really only stepped on a nail?

..Oh. Well that sucks. Sorry to hear that. Yeah, stepped on a construction nail when I was really young, and wisdome teeth removal then braces and the rubber bands I had to wear on my braces, nothing bad..yet.

Lucky. After years of motocross, mountain biking/bmx and snowboarding I have a long list.

I'm only 19, so I'm sure massive pain and injuries will find me some day lol.
