Not mine, but my brother had a compound fracture on his leg. The bone poked out of his shin.

A concrete wall fell on my leg and it weighed a lot my friend picked it up it almost broke my leg.

Flipped my quad and my helmet flew off. Chronic back pain since then. I also had major head lacerations that have mostly healed. Don't drive a quad on pavement. Don't have multiple people on quad. Buckle helmet. Don't see how fast you can go on pavement.

Got hit by a van. It was doing about 40mph. Enough to completely reshape the base of my spine. Pure pain for life.

4 RepliesDuring last tour with the army it did not end well for me.. 2 weeks to go untill got turned home we went on mission, got ambushed late in the night... Air support was 20mins out. Took a bullet in the shoulder and the right upper leg. At the time it did not hurt that much (adrenaline rush) but when u realise for real what happend it kicks in.. Not even mentioning the surgery and rehabilitation..

When I woke up, I was in agony, and when they removed it, I couldn't pee for days. When I could, it was incredibly painful for weeks.

I couldn't grow a scab because the wound was too massive. I had to buy some artificial scab powder. I bled everyday for about 2 months. That was a few years ago. My toe is still -blam!-ed up to this day.

Probably the compound fracture/tearing of ligaments in my right ankle. Ive got screws and a plate there now.
