Bungie help. Atheon gave me an old damage level Thunderlord after expansion?
Deej or Bungie staff,
I'm not sure if this is right. I've had a few people tell me that I was wrong so I figured I come to the source and ask. Yesterday (12/12/14) I ran through the Vault on all my characters like I always do. On one character I received a pre-expansion max damage 300 Plan C. I didn't need one so I broke it down for energy and a exotic shard. On my last character after beating Atheon I received my first Thunderlord, but it was also 274-300 damage, not the 302-331. Is this supposed to be happening? I understand the old raid weapons maybe not being upgraded, but the exotic drops too? It's in my inventory on my male warlock, just sitting there all not upgraded and I'd rather not spend the coin and glimmer if this is fixable, if not then I better grind tonight so I can do it before Xur leaves. A reply would be nice. Thanks.

We ran it just to check this my friend got a hard light with the old damage stats so yeah it's right the vog is worthless other than shards or energy

1 Reply..you know what I got from him? Chatterwhite and 3 shards. For the enth freaking time. Consider yourself lucky. You can still upgrade it with xur eventually.

VoG doesnt drop the higher level exotics. It's still the old ones.

upgrade it dude your not always going to get max level stuff they at least give you an avenue with which to upgrade . just consider yourself lucky for having one of therarest weapons in the game

Yea for some reason vog doesn't give upgraded exotics. Nightfalls and other stuff do though so lets hope they update vog soon :)

They've not updated the loot table for some reason on VoG, neither Atheon drops nor the exotic chest drop the v2 exotics

2 RepliesI hope they fix this. I'm just now geared for the vault. Hopefully the fix the loot table to reflect recent changes to the game.
