It doesn't invalidate it, it just makes me question why they would torture themselves if they hate it so much.

Edited by Fstroke: 12/12/2014 8:21:29 PMThere is a difference between hating something and being critical of it and I don't see the op say they hate the game anywhere. The exact opposite actually. Look, there are merits to this game. Every time I've played with friends its been a blast, but that's more just because of the co-op aspect not the game itself. Grinding is a part of MMOs, most people get that but most MMOs have greater variety of what you grind where for what. Tell me honestly that past lvl 20 the game is not doing the same thing over and over again at varying level of difficulties, minus the 1 raid, which you then do over and over again.(pre dlc that is) But its not about content only. There is very little character and class variation as well, very little options for customization. You can clearly see the base for all of this but it was never implemented. What people are trying to say is that the law of diminishing returns is in full effect right now on this game. Many like myself will likely continue through destiny 1 but best believe there will be many like myself who will look at destiny 2, and if it doesn't live up to its potential, will drop out of this 10 year journey.

Edited by Yu Tai Mai Shu: 12/12/2014 8:28:42 PMWhen/if you drop out, there will be more who will take your spot. It's just how communities work, especially for video games. However, if you are going to stay through Destiny 1, do you really want to constantly be critical and bash the game while you play it? How is that enjoyable? Maybe it is to you, and if that's the case more power to you. To me it just sounds like torture.

See this is the problem with having these discussions with that mentality. Its either 1 or the other and no in between. You've missed the point completely. And no my absence will make 0 difference. On a micro scale its meaningless but if you want to pretend that negative views and opinions and reviews and bad press to leave an imprint on the perception of a product then I don't know what to tell you. Enjoy yourself guardian.

You're right, we should stop helping the developer to do something right.
