Strike AFK: It Has Gotten Worse
Running some Vanguard Roc Strikes last night and I noticed that the new trend is to wait and see if 1 person moves to start the strike. The other two simply AFK or HIDE THE ENTIRE STRIKE. I literally soloed the entire Phogoth strike as these two wimps went AFK. It's obvious why with the new Vanguard gear and Commendations, but FFS people. It's a measly strike. Get in there and do something!
After getting paired with the same dudes the next strike, I left, requed Vanguard Roc, and started fresh. Same damn thing, two AFK. [b]I immediately leave and restart again. 3rd strike in, SAME thing. 4th strike, same. 5th, same. 6th, same.[/b] I was paired with different groups each strike and 2 of them ALWAYS went AFK or putted around farming other stuff. I had to wait for 2 friends to join so I could actually farm up marks for some Vanguard gear.....this sort of behavior is shameful. To say I was angry, is an understatement.

I agree. It's getting worse. Bungie needs to put something in to combat this.

if i get 2 dead sticks, I'll go off and do the first bit to see if they will come, if not, i'll go off and farm materials so they get nothing, but can't move on to another strike.

2 RepliesI don't understand why people do this. They're just missing out on experience from killing the enemies, and possible engram drops.

Report for Unhelpful and Inactivity. Usually they then get auto booted from the lobby

You weren't getting AFKers you where glitching.. This happened to me the night before last, I gave up and went to join some friends on the weeklies.. Same thing happened, I asked why they weren't moving and the said they where both already killing the hordes in the first room..
