Anybody else having trouble with Fist of Crota?
I'm a level 26 hunter, and I can not for the life of me beat this Sardon guy. It's actually almost embarrassing. I think it's mostly due to the limit he puts on jumping. I put a really high emphasis on maneuverability in pretty much every game I play, so close quarters combat + limit on movement = my worst nightmare. Any others having a similar experience? Anyone care to offer some tips to a noob?

I beat him, thanks for the tips. I actually thought that he was easily the hardest part of the dlc story missions!

1 ReplyIm also having trouble with it... People have said that when you defeat the disciple, you can carry the relic sword to the cave and beat him, but whenever I try to do it, the sword disappears!

Just back the -blam!- up when he spawns. Take him out from a distance. Get on top of something if you have to so he cant hit you with the sword.

The area where you can fall of the small ledge, go up and down there he will keep going back and forth.

Get rid of him as quickly as you can, the movement isn't an issue until adds start really coming at you. Use full heavy and super.

4 RepliesTo the back left side of the map there is a cave you can run into and the adds won't follow you. The boss won't move in front of the cave opening though so you have to run out and shoot him then run back in when your health gets low

2 RepliesIf you are solo keep him at a distance and kite him around the room taking chip shots at him with heavy weapons and secondary while making sure to deal with the mobs. The problem is if he gets you cornered or down in health the thralls will finish you off quick. That and he can spam his super over and over again.

First time i unloaded ice breaker into his head and just a couple timurs lash shots dead. He never got close to me. However 2nd run he got close and started doing that blade slash thing, and killed me once. I kites it the 2nd time

I am a level 25 hunter as well, I killed sardon by simply running around the outside and shooting him in the head with my Aries nemesis, and I will say the golden gun is really useful in this battle.

2 RepliesDo hunters have a flash grenade? I used it on him and was able to do sufficient damage enough before he came through. I'm a Titan though.

1 Replygo the back of the room where there is dark smoke , neither sardon or mobs get there..you can just kill him safely there
