Bungie, I've been playing Destiny for the Xbox One (or as my friends and I lovingly call it, the Xbone), and while I have been satisfied with the game in general, I've hit a rather distressing and unfortunate wall during my game play. I've been working as a faction champion for Dead Orbit ever since I first bought the Cloak of the Sojourn. I've amassed quite a bit of Faction Rep with them, in the pursuit of a single Legendary Hand Cannon known as the Venation III. However, I've been continually, with each rank I've progressed, denied the weapon for some reason, and I cannot understand why. My friends have been given the weapon at Dead Orbit rankings as low as 5, or even 3, so what exactly is the issue for me? I may seem like I'm ascribing an undue voodoo-esque power to my problem, but it honestly seems like I'm not getting it solely because the game knows I want it! I've tried putting my current hand cannon (The Devil You Know) in storage, wearing all of my Dead Orbit faction gear when redeeming my Faction Rewards, but everything I do to get the Vexation III had been for naught. I'm level 17 in Dead Orbit. Is there some other way to earn it other than pure, blind luck? I'm at the end of my rope. Could you find it in your heart to give me some sort of instruction on how to raise the chances of getting ahold of the Dead Orbit hand cannon? Could you somehow space magic the hand cannon into my inventory? I'm losing my mind, here! Other than that, the game is wonderful, and I'm enjoying the Dark Below DLC, even if Crota is an unforgiving bruiser, who I couldn't take on my [i]best [/i]day. Happy Holidays, John B.
