2nd chest in the abyss
There is a second chest about half way through the abyss. It's about half way through. There was no orange light above the door from what I remember. It was to the left of the path. I was taking a short cut to catch up so it was before a left turn on the path. I only got shards. Haven't heard of anyone has got anything different from it. If so let us know.

I've seen that 2nd chest too when the dlc 1st came out. 2 of us got lost & we stumbled upon it. Was about to open it when everyone died :( not looked for it since

1 ReplyI too found a second chest about halfway through. I got the first chest on all three characters solo and later that night was going back to cheese my way through to get past bridge two. I blew myself off the rock by lamp two and over shot tbe distance by alot. I ended up sliding off the second tier of the map and landed where you take the left up a long slope. There was a door right infront of me with the light on. Curious i went in, opened the box and got two radiant energy. I started to second guess whether i did this character so checked my inventory and there was nothing but two shards and the two energy i just got. I am 99% sure there is two chest in the light in the abyss section. One exotic chest that randomly spawns in the doors in the doors early on the left and a second random energy chest that spawns randomly in the second half of the route before you get to the top of the hill where it levels off and you cross the bridge.
