First off, I enjoy playing Destiny despite its sometimes glaring flaws, and I know I'll get my money's worth out of this DLC (hardly an expansion). I'm sure the Raid will end up being my favorite part once I give it a go, and I'll be spending a lot of time grinding for new gear and such. A few things irked me a bit, however...
I couldn't help but be bothered by the heavy reuse of old locations. The story missions as well as the Will of Crota strike have us fighting through familiar locations, but packed with buttloads of enemies. The new areas were refreshing to, but they were awfully small... maybe a hallway with large room at the end for boss fights.
Also, Eris is just a little bit too reminiscent of the Queen's Emissary... though the new gear is much more diverse and worthwhile. (She also made me kind of miss Dinkerbell's monotonous exposition)
Bungie has crafted a very enjoyable and seriously addictive game, and I'll always be curious to see what else they can bring to it, but does it make sense that I'd expect this Expansion to be a little more... y'know... expansive?
