Hmm...you know what...I have to apologize to you. I was wrong. The coin came the next round. It was an Ascendant Shard instead of a strange coin. Not that it makes me feel any better. The shards are worthless to me as I already had over 150 of them.
Bottom line: YOU were 100% correct and I was 100% wrong. You cannot get a strange coin from legendary. I am sorry to have wasted our time arguing when I was wrong. Thank you for being cool about it though.
