I've been at work for 28 minutes, haven't done anything except drink coffee and take a shit and I've already made the $17 it cost me to buy this DLC. *shrugs*

Some people lol at your 64k a year. Its about value not price. We are getting ripped off. Would u buy a bottle of water for 50 bucks? Theres a price range and value for items purchased. In terms of value, this dlc stinks. Ive seen updates that were free with more content.

Edited by Johnnykev: 12/9/2014 4:45:46 PMWell put. I think this is where people always get hung up. It's not the money, it's the value of what you purchased with said money. I make far less money than TC, but I wouldn't hesitate at dropping $20 for something of substance. However, I find myself with little incentive to purchase this dlc.

I've spent like 300+ hours on Destiny. Another $20 for a raid? I'm there. The rest is bonus.

^this

I always promise my boss two things. Never to shit on my time or sweat on his. Man I love being a military contractor.
-
You make $34 an hour?
-
Today I do. Only working 6 hours and still getting my $200

Depends on what you do

There you go.

This is flawed logic and precludes the idea that people would feel slighted on principle. It shouldn't matter if you can make the money back in half-an-hour. What matters is whether or not a company can morally charge $20 for DLC of this size. Unfortunately, I believe that they think they can... a precedent set by Activision successfully selling map packs at $15 a pop for years.

Edited by tombok90: 12/9/2014 4:31:44 PMCod ruined gaming. Stupid hipsters accepted this as the norm now. When rockstar, bethesda and other gaming companies start following bungievision and activisions model for pay to play, imma quit gaming. Or go subscription. How these companies chop up 1 game and sell it as 5 dlcs is a rip off.
