Ok December 9th is going to be a big day for everyone, I'm wondering how many people plan to spend the entire day on the Raid.
Here's a prep list to make sure you guys get the best from The Dark Below.
- Clear 3 days from schedule
- Adjust sleep schedule
- Farm tons of materials beforehand
- Move refrigerator and microwave into room
or move gaming system into kitchen
(Optional)
- Create false Facebook status that you are
sick, for minimal disturbances
- Stock up on microwave food and
and beverages of your choice.
(The more you stock up on, the less time
you'll have to spend away from Destiny)
- Call contractor for an estimate on building
toilet close to the area in which you will be
playing. Only if you don't already have one
close by.
- Stock up on baby wipes - no showers
should be taken within the first week of
release, in order to maximize play time.
- Allow for a sleep/play ratio of 1:6.
For every 20 hours played, you are
allowed 4 hours of sleep. The most common sleep cycle is 40 hours on and 8 hours off. It is highly recommended.
- Allow 8 hour buffer from time of DLC
release. The amount of excitement that
will be had can lead to serious health
problems. If erections last more than
4 hours, see a doctor immediately.
- If you're currently in a relationship, end it immediately.
- If you have kids, find a babysitter ahead of time or schedule for adoption. (Optional)
- Prepare a group of the finest Guardians on your friends list and make sure you all have read all previous steps and have the same schedule.
- take a blood oath to stick through until the Raid is complete.
Thanks for your time. If there's anything I missed, let me know and I'll add it to the list.

I know man, I am excited too!!! I cannot wait to have my ass handed to me in the level 30 raid, because I am only 29... you know, because the good ole RNG gods decided to never, ever, give me raid legs, so I sit at 29 freaking forever. So I will tell you exactly what I will be doing on Dec. 9th. Playing Dragon Age... just like I am now. Or other games. This game has pissed me off in so many ways, and it was so unexpected, coming from Bungie... and they havent rectified the severe problems in the slightest. So, glad to see you are excited about it, but almost everyone I know (including me) wishes to the high HEAVENS that we could get our money back from buying this frakking DLC. Unless things change, they will never get another single damned penny from me, either.
