The inspiration for this goes to CaptMcNugget and his post http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/77938019/0/0
Here is the game:
Master Rahool has found an incredibly rare artifact from the golden age and it has taken him over! Help him overcome this artifact and earn your reward!
You and Master Rahool are transported to an empty tower, the two of you facing each other, a counter starts to count down. Suddenly when the counter reaches zero the cryptarch takes off and a shield forms around him. Your goal is to do as much melee damage to his shield as you can in a set amount of time. As you do damage engrams will drop with an appropriate rareness (see notes below for further info) to the difficulty you have chosen. At the end of your time you are given a grade and a prize at the end along with the thanks of Master Rahool for "saving him" from the artifact by punching him in the face.
Tiers:
5 strange coins, 2 minutes of time on the clock: Uncommon and Rare engrams have a chance to drop and maximum grade reward is a rare quality items (engram, mote of light, strange coin)
10 strange coins, 5 minutes on the clock: uncommon and rare engrams have a chance to drop with rare engrams getting an increased chance to drop, Grade rewards at the end are rare quality items or a chance for materiel i.e. 10 spinmetal etc.
20 strange coins, 7 Minutes on the clock: uncommon, rare and legendary have a chance to drop, grade rewards are rare quality with a chance to recieve an ascendant materiel
30 strange coins, 10 Minutes on the clock: only rare and legendary engrams will drop, (a slightly higher chance for legendaries to drop than the standard RNG allows now but nothing insane, just a slightly higher chance) Grade rewards for this tier are rare quality engrams, with legendary engrams and ascendant materiel for the higher grades.
After round Grades are:
C = engram only
B = engram or rare quality item
A = engram or materiel
What you earn will be determined by the prize pool that your round has to draw from. The more you spend the better your loot pool is!
Let me know what you guys think, would this be fun for you? Is it a terrible idea? Is it not enough to just punch the Cryptarch? Is his stinginess just to much and you need to shoot him instead? It puts the lotion on it's skin and it plays the Crucible again??? Sound off below!!!

Unfair advantage for hunters and warlocks.
