New Vanguard / Crucible Boots, Gloves and Chest armor costs both a Commendation and 75 Marks. It used to be 65 marks. Helms still appear to cost 120 Marks and the Commendation. All new Legendary armor is upgradeable with Ascendant shards / energy New Vanguard / Crucible weapons cost 120 Marks and a Commendation. They are upgradable with Radiant shards / energy which only come from the new Raid. No word on Faction armor, however there are Faction specific ships that you can get from a Faction Vote, which may appear in rank up gift baskets. Trials of Osiris: You earn your way in though playing in the Crucible or by spending a Mote of Light if you have the Fate of All Fools exotic bounty. 3 losses on your invitation and you are out. There is only 1 map used for this Crucible Mode. There are Legendary weapons, armor, shaders, emblems, sparrows and a ship that you can get though this mode. How Does Light Work? A piece Legendary Crota’s End armor will be equivalent to an expansion Exotic. You CAN get to level 30 with an Expansion 1 Exotic, 1x Expansion legendary and 3x Pre-Expansion legendarys. Here’s some options to get to level 30, 31, and 32: •Level 30 (120) – pre dark below x3 Raid Legendary + pre dark below Exotic •Level 31 (132) – dark below x4 Legendary •Level 32 (144) – dark below Exotic + dark below symbol x3 Raid Legendary Simply add up the “max Light” values above until you reach 120, 132, or 144 to see what gear it would take to reach Light level 31 or 32.
