Am I the only one who hates the map in crucible? I despise staring at the corner of my screen watching for enemies for the entire match. I barely look at the actual screen to find enemies (using peripheral vision to run around, after learning the map layouts). To survive you have to use the minimap, or you're at a disadvantage. Isn't NOT knowing where enemies are on the map part of the challenge in PvP, or am i just crazy?
Look, I'm not bitching because I'm terrible, but there's only so many times I can die from 3 players just waiting for me around a corner before i lose it. Knowing what direction you're coming from when trying to capture a control point, etc.
The mini-map feels like an old FPS relic in general, it's continued use doesn't make sense to me. You don't have to make snap decisions and plan out where to go, or think about where enemy players are. You don't have to actively look for them or communicate/coordinate with teammates to find them. The mini-map is hindering the crucible. I know people are going to disagree (strongly), but the minimap has to go.
