To elaborate, do you have headcanons/fanfics/little-stories for your trio of Guardians? Names? What are their personalities?
What kind of trouble do they get into when they're not being Guardians that punch time-traveling Not-Daleks in the glowy-bits, popping Cabal faceplates, or knife-fighting Fallen? Do they have preferred enemies, shadowy histories, funny quirks? Maybe they have a special affinity to a certain company/gun?
To give a sort of example, my Warlock was a pop-punk posterchild prior to being revived. He was revived and his Ghost found an old music player of his nearby: all he owned was crammed in a suitcase that (somehow) wasn't looted when he died in Russia. Revival saw him meet a peculiar Exo, Breaker-77, who immediately stole a ship and a sparrow from him and tried to get away. A short scuffle later, they ended up becoming friends when the Warlock just said "if you needed something you could've just asked, dumbass!" Their friendship is awkward as all get-out, and based on that phrase. Breaker-77 was a career bank-robber, about to pull the biggest heist he could imagine (steal Rasputin's core and set the AI up to watch his crew's safehouse to survive the apocalypse) before everything went wrong. I'd explain my Hunter, buuuuut that is a feelsy tale I'm sure nobody wants to hear (Her story itself ain't sad, how it ties into the other two jackasses is).
In short, how in-depth are you in making your characters your own? Do your three characters interact with one another, did they do something fun when punching Atheon in his equivalent of a mouth? Do tell! Trade stories, make your legend truly yours! (Dee_J, and anyone really, if you don't have a story or something for your characters, I challenge you to make one!)

Why do the work for Bungie? I feel no attachment to my character or weapons because they didn't try to give me a reason to care.
