Hey Destiny community,
I'd like to take this opportunity to talk about the newly announced lvl 31 gear from the Iron Banner.
The Dark Below expansion will expand our light level to 32. Raid gear will get you to that level (for PvE Players) When the Iron Banner finally also gave us level 30 gear I was so pleased. Not only had PvP players the chance to earn level 30 gear and become max light level, but also we had some variety in the looks of level 30 players.
Now with the new expansion Iron Banner is comming back, but with level 31 gear and I ask myself why? Why would we even go bother getting level 31 armor when there is level 32 armor out there, why grind again to certain rank only to store the armor again when we get level 32 armor. Design Lead Lars Bakken, seriously, why...
If we'd had someting like a Wardrobe system (http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/76886466/0/0/1) or vanity slots or how you would call it, we could actually benefit from getting this level 31 armor, for aesthetics, but since there is nothing like this, nor even announced I ask you guys, why would be even bother? Sure Iron Banner is fun, but getting rewarded with something that acctuly is gonna help you "Become Legend" is even far more fun.
"Become the Legend Bungie wants you to be"

It's all about timing, with the dlc out Monday I think it's a good idea to hold fire in the 32 stuff. If you manAge to get the gear you need from IB it will aim to serve your play in the new raid as opposed to replacing it. I gather the next IB will see the 32 gear which is a nice progression

you hear that...it's the sound of crying low-life raiders >:D (not all but you know the one, I'm talking about)

They'll probably have a second it on banner event a little later on in the dlc with lvl 32 gear. The 1st iron banner didn't have lvl 30 gear, only the 2nd.

Yup you are right. Bungie will loose players like this..
