[b]the idea is simple [/b] get rid of shaders the whole idea of shaders is simply ludicrous. [b]the create a style is either a option within our menu ore something we acces through a vendor in the tower. in the menu we have two options to pick from.[/b] [b]option 1.[/b] which is called create a style. once you select the option you get three new options these are the color slots. the slots are numbered from 1 to 3 and are aplied in the same manner as the current shaders. once you pick one of the colors you get a menu with a color wheel: https://color.adobe.com/build2.0.0-buildNo/resource/img/kuler/color_wheel_730.png one of these things: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/colormap.gif and 3 squares with the color numbers and a light and dark slider. (with the numbers you can and letters in the three sqaures you can also make colors and can be helpfull in remembering a certain color). the color options will be depected left on the screen while your guardian is on the right of the screen so you can see what the color you pick looks like but also to which parts of the armor it is aplied. once your satisfied you accept the color and you get to the second part the color wheel and the rest is replaced with a slider for shine/gloss and another slider for sparkle (maby it is because i am a girl but i want my armor to sparkle) besides this there is a large sqaure when you click on it you can select out of different paterns/camos. just with the colors you can see your gaurdian on the right and see how the shine, gloss, sparkle and patern/camo is aplied. paterns could for example be litle hearts spread over your armor or you can pick a lame army camo or maby something with skulls whatever floats your boat. then you accept and the color with the shine/gloss/sparkle and if you aplied a patern/camo is aplied to the parts of the armor that the color slot afects. from here you can chance one of the other colors or go back and select option two. [b]option 2.[/b] emblems. from here you get a menu with an empty sqaure and on the right are the armos pieces displayed that you have eqeuped. you select one piece for example the chest and drag it to the large empty sqaure and then press the button to proceed. in the center of your screen you will see the piece of armor you can rotate it and zoom in or out. on the right you have an empty sqaure which is called slot 1 and a option below with add slot. once you click on the slot you open a overlaying menu with countless emblems. once you pick one a color wheel a litle overlaying menu opens with a color wheel and a shine/gloss and sparkle slider. once you decided on the color of the emblem and if it shines or not or maby sparkles you accept and the overlaying menus go away. you now have a transparent version of the emblem. you can enlarge it or make it smaller and the emblem wraps around the armor acordingly. once you found a nice place you press the accept button and the emblem is aplied. the chosen emblem is now also displayed in the selected slot. behind this slot is a X when you press it you delete the emblem and the slot becomes empty again. you can add more slots like i already mentioned so your not limited to one emblem. o ne instance this could be used for is a clan emblem. for example you could incoperate every letter of the alphabet as a emblem. i for example have joined a group called dutch alliance. i could paste our national flag on a shoulder pad with the letters D A beneath it. this way we could show to which clan/group we belong to. once your done you accept and you go back to the select an option menu from here you can leave or mess around further. [b]but what about my exclusive preorder shader![/b] your preorder shader aka blacksmith will be replaced with an exclusive patern/camo and a emblem from cod. this is how exclusive content could still be used. but also from the cryptarch or lvling the factions will then give paterns.camos and emblems instead of those lame shaders. [b]vendor for create a style would be eva levante [/b] i hope for once bungie listens to there community and implemets something that people really desire and want. let me feel like i am communicating with people instead of a wall. i have seen lots of posts for a simelair system like this although usually not described like this.
