Yes. In Halo, even the presence of the ordinary human marines was incredibly important. If you didn't fight well, they died. They called out to you by name. Looked up to you. If you accidentally hit one of them, they got hurt. Even that little part of the game made it feel like there was something worth fighting for. In Destiny, there is literally NO ONE to fight for but yourself. No sense of togetherness. It's extremely disappointing.
