I have played video games since the 80s from Atari on through to the original Xbox. I modded that Xbox rented games and saved them to the hard drive to play later. That ruined gaming for me, I never completed one of them and lost complete interest for a years. I did manage to squeeze in Shadow of the Colossus (which was great) on a borrowed PS2. Then a friend gave me a broken Xbox 360 that I fixed and figured I'd try gaming again. Saw the epic Bartholomew trailer for Dark Souls while watching football and figured what the hell it looks cool I'll try it out. I have been hooked again ever since. Even though it's a newer game Dark Souls saved gaming for me and is one of my all time favorites.
