[b]LOVE THE GAME! Please keep up the great work![/b] Here are some of my basic upgrade ideas after 10+ days of gameplay: [b]THE TOWER AREA:[/b] 1. There should be a SOCIAL AREA for people to make new friends online. The Tower area is NOT very social right now and dancing and pointing at each other is not an effective way to meet new people. Perhaps the lounge area could be open mic by default to encourage people to interact together in the Tower? Make the Tower more social please! SIDE NOTE: Not everyone will take advantage of this great website and buy the Strategy Guide! 2. There should be an ARCHIVE or library of gameplay tips and basic game instructions. Something with more information than the Official Strategy Guide (which is outdated and not worth a purchase other than artwork). Maybe include something like they do in Bethesda Softworks "Oblivion" for the archive that includes random stories, etc. As for game play there should be some basic tutorials and instructions for newbies for any game without instructions, really! [b]GAME INVITES AND PARTY CHAT REQUESTS:[/b] Why leave the application? Is there no way to take action on these requests without leaving the game? This is a next generation game, right? [b]THE STORAGE VAULTS:[/b] SPACE IS TOO LIMITED for a single character! I'm guessing this is because some people are using three characters to cheat the loot system? One easy fix for the Storage Vaults would be to include the ability to delete something and save space from within the Storage Vault. Right now it's really a pain in the butt to exit in-and-out to delete something and then add something new to the storage vault when all my save slots are getting maxed out! [b]THE CHARACTER MENU:[/b] I dislike having to return to the Tower to see my REPUTATION LEVELS when I am grinding for Iron Banner, Vanguard and Crucible Marks, etc. The end of game glimpse of the "Reputation Diamond" is faster than a blink of an eye and easy to miss! [b]PROTECT MY FAVORITE WEAPONS PLEASE:[/b] 1. There should be a LOCK FEATURE (best idea) or a "Confirm Delete" message for Legendary and Exotic Weapons! Maybe consider a short time period to "undo" or backup and restore legendary and exotic items? I accidentally deleted my favorite weapon (Parydeth's Revenge which was also maxed out) during the heat of a boss fight. All hell was breaking loose and the item was gone as quick as I found it which sucks big time for me. I actually felt like I lost my best friend and would hate for someone else to have the same horrible feeling! SIDE NOTE: I know your FAQ section state you cannot replace lost items because real life decisions are often permanent. However, gamers are also human and honest mistakes do happen! Some people may have quit the game right then and there if they went through so much hard work and grinding after being so lucky enough to find a special weapon to embrace. Fortunately, I love the game and have the resolve to continue! 2. CONSIDER BACKUP OR RESTORE OPTIONS! Maybe legendary or exotic items could even be purchased with glimmer or CASH (yikes) from a shop vendor. It's not like the elders in the tower have anything useful to purchase after we reach upper levels anyway, right? Put them to work and let us recover our lost goods already! Another simple option would be sending a deleted item during battle to the Lost and Found messages for a second chance to confirm and delete. I know your dev team at Bungie have great skills to make something happen with this. MAKE IT SO! :-) [b]NIGHTFALL AND WEEKLY STRIKES:[/b] 1. Everyone should get an exotic item when they complete the Nightfall. PLEASE! :-) 2. The new solo player penalty is NOT fair to those of us who don't have a million friends online just waiting to help us do the Nightfall strike when we have time to spend on the game. SIDE NOTE: You can argue all things are not equal in life, but every USD counts! Sometimes people just want to FLY SOLO and I really enjoyed playing these strikes alone because they were incredibly difficult and challenging! [b]WARLOCK ARM BANDS, ETC.[/b] These should have simple MODIFIERS, similar to weapons and armor that give +1 agility, strength and recovery to make them useful please. I hear rumors that some Shaders have special attributes and these could be more special! ;-) [b]LEGENDARY CRYPTARCH PACKAGES:[/b] My Cryptarch is currently at level 37 and I am still getting two blue engrams all the stinking time! On the rare event they reward my with a legendary item they are too often for another character type. Where are my legendary items (or rare exotics) these patch updates keep promising? I'm grinding for my loot and gear the hard way most of the time! :-) SIDE NOTE: I have never seen an exotic engram drop during the game and have 300+ hours of game play!? I would love to see a yellow engram drop someday! [b]MORE EXOTIC BOUNTY MISSIONS PLEASE![/b] [b]Thanks for creating such a great game Bungie! :-P[/b]
