I got it from nightfall last night. I'm always a gunslinger, even in pvp. This is a bladedancer helmet.
Should I shard it to upgrade an exotic?
Or keep it just in case blade dancers are needed in the new raid?

Replenish health when you pick up an orb - Great for Crota hard. Increase melee attack speed - necessary for better execution as swordbears. Arc Blade attacks use less super energy is a significant buff. It's a really good helmet.
-
Keep it, great for replenishing health in CE hard
-
I like it when I know I'll use Arcblade a lot. If I just want invisibility from my Bladedancer, I use Lucky Raspberry
-
Keep for Raid if you know was good for you.
-
Blade dancer is also useful for arc burn. I want that helmet.

Edited by TheFrozenInferno: 1/27/2015 1:24:32 AMDONT DO IT. I always ran Gunslinger too, ran MoTTM because it was my only exotic helm at the time. Told myself I'd never play Bladedancer so I dismantled it as soon as I got Symbiote. I then leveled up my Bladedancer and realized how useful the subclass is. Now I play Bladedancer 90% of the time and wish I still had that MoTTM. Never had it drop again since and regret dismantling it. Seriously, level up your Bladedancer and give it a chance. The invisibility perks alone will get you hooked. Being able to invis to revive careless teammates has saved me so many wipes-to-orbit in Nightfalls it's not even funny. Crouch to invis, blink strike to invis, invis during arc blade. Throw Don't Touch Me gauntlets and Patience and Time into the mix and you'll never have to be visible again.

Keep it. It's one of the best hunter exotics in game. Also good for raid. Picking up an orb replenishes health.
-
I use it as a sword bearer in the hard mode to heal me. It's the best for BDs
-
Keep. Have had it since week 1. It's the best
-
Keep it, it's a 5 star exotic
-
Orbs heal you in the raid...
-
That's a keeper. Arachnid=shard
-
KEEP Great if you love to use bladedancer in pvp, great for crota Hard mode because you get health from orbs. And I always use bladedancer for the crota raid, I feel it's better for me than gunslinger
-
Keep it for Crota hard mode. It allows you to replenish health with orbs. It's a must for the raid.
-
Keep. BD is useful in Crota anyway.
-
Keep it only because it's the best BD exptic for pvp. I'm the same way I run GS almost 100% of the time, but sometimes I'm just looking for something different and throw that on with bd subclass.
-
Keep it if you intended to do the hard raid. Picking up orbs restores health a great perk to have for fighting Crota.
-
Shard
-
I sat keep it, at least for the time being, I'm mostly a blade dancer but never intend on scraping my symbiote
-
I dont even have a hunter, but still got it. Might keep it just for an exotic collection.
-
Yeah keep it. I have both subclasses maxed on my new hunter. I mainly use bladedancer but I like to have a helmet for each class. But I horde exotics. And why not? LOL! I have Apochlyphage Symbiote, Knucklehead and I just got Mask of the Third Man from a legendary engram. I Googled it to see what people have to say about it and came across this forum. I Wish I had gotten it yesterday before I bought Knucklehead from Xur though. Oh well. Like I said I horde them so it's one more for my collection.
-
Keep. Any specific exotic is harder to come by than shards are/will be in the long run.
-
Definitely keep it for the new raid
-
I'd recommend keeping it. If only in the hopes that we can have "glamoured" armor at some point in the games lifetime.
-
Keep it. You can always power level it while turning in some bounties. Btw you can also power level your subclass too
-
Lol I got the gunslinger helm last night and the radar helm the week before. Playing on my warlock. Hahahha
