While I happen to like the majority of what you had said I have an alternate theory, maybe it's simply the case that bungie had a concept for this game and built the excitement of the players based on what they aimed to achieve however due to production issues further down the line (bringing in Activision) they didn't reach the concept the drove to create the sales. Maybe they never intended to harm the idea of this game by releasing an obviously watered down concept of what they intended but hope to fix that with post DLC, granted the only unfair/ I'll explained part is why make us pay? The simple answer is in front of us if you choose to digest my theory and that is simply that they need to generate enough revenue to continue the attempt to bring us there fully intended vision, for obvious reasons if this happens to be true then it will never be admitted as in that concession they default the righty and reason for asking us to pay for the DLC all ties up quite nicely in my mind but I'm not fool hardy enough to think that there aren't alternative views and this is exactly why this is only my theory and I'm not passing anything based of off fact, because truthfully with nothing yet confirmed left as only open speculation it's always going to be fiction until someone comes forward with the truth.

I think they made enough profit from the game to fix the issues without charging people.
