Mario 64, I play the shit out of NES and Sega but Mario 64 was the first game I was on a mission to complete. It set me on a path that led to this point... you could say it was Destiny. *Ba-Dum-Tiss*

First game to get me into gaming...? Super Mario/Duck Hunt on the NES, I guess. My grandma owned a video store, and rented NES consoles and games. If there were any in the store, I would play it in the employee area for hours. The game that I have the fondest memories of? Fable. 100% favorite game of all time. Loved the gameplay, the story, the mechanics, the lore the NPCs, the customization and so much more. I probably played through the game 30 times. Even my dad played. The subsequent games... Not so much. Played through 2 twice. Played through 3 about 5 times... Meh... Cared less for the aesthetic and storyline in both. Gameplay was marginally better in 2, but the replacement of some of the spells with potions in 3 was a big turn off. Unlikely that I'll ever play anything else from the franchise, as I now own a PS4 and don't picture buying a One for a long while.

Edited by OGPURPDIESEL: 12/2/2014 10:00:47 PMPlaying pong and mario bros was fun and all but, when the gameboy hit the shelves with pokemon red and blue. S**t hit the fan!!! Especially when they came out with the little squiggly light thingy you plugged in on road trips so you could see...OMFG!!!....or the ridiculous cables and instruction manuals you needed to trade pokemon. It brings tears to my eyes thinking about it.
