Edited by zmach1: 12/3/2014 12:31:37 AMThe Might and Magic series (computer RPG. A party of 6 doing the dungeon scene. Turn based combat). The old Atari got me started on Videogames. Space Invaders, River Raid, Frogger, Stampede, Ms Pacman. One of my favorite gaming systems was the Colecovision.

Geez...it probably started with Elevator Action in the arcade (doesn't hold up) but really sunk in with The Legend of Zelda on the NES.
-
Pokemon Gold!
-
Earthbound
-
Or galaga

Space Invaders. I *am* old. Stated with "pong" but that was just a diversion. So I pretty much started with "alien race bent on conquering Earth. And Here I am. 36 years later. Playing a game that is basically "alien race(s) bent on conquering Earth. ;)
-
Buck Rogers on Atari tapes. Or qbert. Yeah I had pong too. Man I'm feelin older than I should
-
Tron on the intellivision.
-
I dabbled a lot as a kid - Alex kidd, civ, b17 bomber, scorched earth, goldeneye, Mario Kart - but what really sold me into gaming as I am today was the original kotor.
-
Hmm, probably first game that hooked me was either Pitfall or Enduro on Atari.
-
super mario bros 3

Socom

I see you have a lot of tags up there. However this should be in #OffTopic not Destiny.

Legacy of the Ancients (Apple IIE) Pac-Man and 1943 (Arcade) Super Mario Bros. and Castlevania (NES) Those were the days...

Started with my aunt's nes and later my snes and game boy. At that time I was a casual gamer, games were just another hobby and I spent more time playing outside and reading. Didn't become a hardcore gamer until the PS1 and N64. Hard to pick one game from that era-FFVII, Pokemon, Goldeneye, Twisted Metal 2, a ton of rpgs, among others. Gaming not only became my main interest but I developed a thirst for knowledge regarding it.- it's history, world records, important industrial figures, etc.

Edited by Mr Xerak: 12/2/2014 10:02:29 PMFirst game ever? Frogger! After that, the real hook was the Final Fantasy games on Super NES. Followed by PS and PS2 fighting games, racers, GTAs and Twisted Metal. I stop playing for a while, but returned to gaming for Oblivion, and ended up hooked up with Mass Effect and CoD.

Chuckie Egg on BBC. If you can't clock Chuckie Egg you aren't a true gamer in my eyes. If you don't know Chuckie Egg, the BBC or the term clocked then you don't know jack!
-
Gaming life?? Woah, chill. If you're asking what game made me more interested in gaming, then it was Zelda OoT and Super Smash Bros.
-
I go right back to the zx spectrum and games like Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy.
-
Hunter the reckoning or gauntlet dark legacy on the original xbox. They were hard games that were extremely unforgiving. I love a good challenge!
-
Treasure island dizzy on spectrum. Or Rastan on sega master system
