I'm only 28, first console sega master system 2 with built in Alex the kid. Loved shinobi, golden axe, enduro racer. Got a Nintendo later... rampage, street fighter, duck hunter, battle toads. Forget what console but the old Jurassic park games were so good. Had an Atari at one stage but only remember bubble bubble or whatever it was called.

Donkey Kong country super Nintendo played that crap for hours with my dad

We had Battle Tank in the barracks in Germany and while I played some Atari in high school, that Battle Tank game amazed me. This was 1980 and we also had Defender and pop machines there had beer. It was something I will never forget! I guess it also helped I was a tanker in a tank Battalion. 1/37 Armor!

Oregon Trail and Frogger on the Apple IIe Green and black monochrome 4 life! From there I went on to the NES where I played waaaaay too much of Mario 1, 2, and 3. Final Fantasy VII and Ocarina of Time hooked me into RPG's specifically. Descent 3 and Wing Commander (all five of them) for flight combat games. Unreal Tournament and Goldeneye 007 got me into shooters. Ascendancy (now on iPhone, yay!), Civilization (original ported to Win32 with net code for multiplayer), and Sim City 2000 got me into simulation games. Warcraft II and Starcraft for real time strategy. Everquest got me into MMO's. World of Warcraft still has me hooked lol. I keep falling in love with new games and styles as they evolve. There have been so many. But my first and fondest was me at five years old on that Apple IIe bopping my head along to the Frogger music as it loaded the level off a 5.25" floppy. Not even a hard drive in those old systems. Good times.
