Probably crash bandicoot. I sued the first three games like a crack head!

Mine was Space Quest Series, and Kings Quest. and Leisure Suit Larry. Was LATE 80's and early 90's Sprites, and typing what you wanted your character to do. Games were frustrating sometimes trying to figure out what was SUPPOSED to be done.

Ocarina of Time is still one of the best games ever. Story, Music, Gameplay, RPG and puzzles blend like no other game! Super Metroid is the peak of the "Metroidvania" genre. And mastering the wall jump gives you so many opportunities to discover the game anew, playing it in a different order!

Besides Mario, the Legend of Zelda for sure.
