Ok community what was that one game that sold you to the gaming life!? What is that one game that when you think back it bring about the good old days memory :)!

My son was 18 months old and would immediately toddle to the 'hot seat' when the original tomb raider on PS 1 started up. He has lived his life in these fantasy worlds ever since. But for me as I have posted before it was 'Elite' on the Commodore Amiga

First three games I played/enjoyed were Zelda Ocarina of Time, Starfox 64, and Banjo-kazooie. They hooked me.

The original time crisis arcade game. Played that with friends at local game places. Good ol days of being a careless child.

3 RepliesBeen playing video games and pinball well before most of you folks were even born. All the way back to the first ones like Pong and Space Invaders. My best friend's dad when I was in 6th grade sold IBM computers and we'd sit for hours playing SPW (Space Wars) and the first Microsoft Flight Sim and the first Need for Speed. So, hard to say what sold me on it, I've always loved it. My dad loved pinball and it's actually some of my very first memories in life to this day. But the first game that really took over my life for a while was Half Life. There were many, many, many games before that that I played for many hours at a time, but the original Half Life was like a whole new world in many ways. I couldn't put it down. Then Elder Scrolls Morrowind - had to take a week of vacation just to play that game on the original xbox. Everquest 2 was the next that consumed me. Now Destiny. lol

1 ReplyI won an n64 with Mario cart at a racing event raffle. Hooked it up in a buddies trailer and played all night. All 4 of us drivers ended up nearly missing out main event =p. I was maybe 10 at the time.

I was born in the mid 80s. My sister was a big gamer. Had all the "latest" systems and games. I grew up with all the wonderful Nintendo greatness of the late 80s and early 90s ^_^ Heck I still have issue one of Nintendo power!

I started with contra and super sprint as a kid. Moved up to battle toads, ninja turtles, street fighter. Then it all changed when golden eye came out with that awesome multiplayer. First fps and never looked back.
