Afterburner. So. Many. Quarters. I think I spent more on that game than I did on pizza (it was in a pizzeria)

The Secret of Monkey Island (on my Amiga 500) - There had been many games beforehand, but this one was truly, truly special :) That and Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder too (and the original Syndicate!)... Gods i spent so many hours ( Weeks... Years... lol) playing those games :) And of course... If we want to go REAL old school... Then it would have to be Zac McCracken and the Alien Mindbenders, Maniac Mansion , the Dizzy games, and Elite on the C64 before that :) Holy crap i am old... lol ;)

I actually just realized today that my moniker (Apollo) will be able to legally vote in a few months... my first online game is Diablo 1 and it'll always hold a special place in my heart for introducing me to online gaming (and giving me a headstart on learning how to deal with people on the internet over my piers...) That being said, the game that got me hooked to gaming... A Link to the Past. Was the first game I ever owned and to this day I'm still impressed with myself that I managed to beat it as a 4 year old, even if it took me about 60 hours of game time over multiple months (Hey leave me alone! It's the only gaming related thing I can brag about that non-WoW players would understand ^_^).
