I started on the Amstrad, but my favourites began on the SNES. Metal Marines and Mario. Since then the main stand out titles from memory are probably the same as a lot of peoples here. A Link to the Past, GoldenEye, X-COM Enemy Unknown, FFVII through to XI. Then there were a lot of PC games too, like Quake, Unreal Tournament, Doom, Diablo and a whole plethora of MMORPG. Lately it's been the likes of Skyrim, the Witcher, Mass Effect, BioShock, Call of Duty and Battlefield. I've obviously missed a great deal, but those are the ones that came to mind.

Star Wars - Empire Strikes Back for Atari 2600...

Halo 2. I played threw the story a 100000 times and each time had a memory. Also Zelda the wind waker was a important game in my life. COD 4! That game was literally the best. I loved the story with memorable moments like walking threw the brush and snow to snipe the guy in the church. And shipment the map. I would start with a LMG and just hold the trigger and run around. Funny shit. Now I miss the old days :(

Runescape

Probably CS. That's when i started playing against other people.
-
Ironically my clan name is Old School Gamers.
-
Runescape the very first game I really got into, I know there are some scapers here.
-
Early days? Super Mario, contra and metal gear. It wasn't until 1999 when I completed metal gear solid on European extreme and achieved the big boss rating I knew my fate was sealed. I still have the memory card :)

Edited by thearchaic1: 12/18/2014 6:01:42 AMMissile command and Galaga were the first games I played on a console. Yeah I'm that old, but someone else put it very eloquently, my generation made video games relevant.

I think either TOTALED on XBOX, or Halo 3, my cousins would come over and bring Halo 3 and we would play it.

Runescape

Probably Mario Bros.

Easy..Pac Man (yeah I'm 43, my generation made video games relevant!). That little yellow -blam!-er was EVERYWHERE back in the early 80's. Follow that up with Tempest or Dragon's Lair.

Viva piñata still one of the best games ever
-
Battle Arena Toshinden

The. Elder. Scrolls. Getting lost in a vast open world makes an amazing experience.

You may find it odd that I play Xbox 360 bow instead of PS XD Considering it was my first ever console
-
Spyro a Hero's Tail, as a 4 year old girl I didn't know what to expect for my first ever time playing a video game, my brother refused to help me hold my controller correct and tell me the controls so as a result I never held my Ps2 controller right. I look back at me bow and think of how well I played this game being a four year old girl who just learnt read. I got through the fist part through trial and error and I uhhhh well most naturally died quite a bit XD. Eventually you know I beat the game, and something new entered my interest, glitches, I love glitches and my favorite in this game was the swimming glitch. I utilized the glitches people found and searched for my own, I once spent 3 hours charging into a rock just trying to get inside it. I even found a never before seen glitch which I was extremely proud of. I never talked to anyone about my games, because whenever I did people would ask to many questions an I would get annoyed. Ahahahaha extreme nostalgia right now XD

Playing Rayman 2 the great Escape with my brother on Christmas morning was one of the best memories of my childhood, that and LOZ and Harvest Moon 64, I loved me some farming!!!
-
Classic SNES titles like legend of Zelda. Then I upgraded to a N64 and played Turok, Super Mario 64 and Golden Eye. Ahh the good days of being a kid
-
Goldeneye is where the couch fun with friends started. Super Mario Bros is the one that started it all.

Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, TY the Tasmanian Tiger, and finally STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II Apparently now I'm learning I like a lot of games owned by Naughtydog
