Do you get offended when someone refers to you as being "articulate"?
I get that all the damn time... like people are shocked I don't speak thug.

It does seem to be a common misnomer to a lot of people and I do find myself puzzled to why they would say that. Before it would get to me a bit but not nearly as much anymore. :)

Truth be told....I don't let it bother me at all. I understand "Thug Speak" BUT, I speak English. Lol
