They must be a myth right? Because I've never gotten one anywhere, be it in the wild dropped by an enemy or as a reward for an activity or from a package. I'm a Level 28 who runs lots of Tiger Strikes, nightfall, weekly 28 and now the raid every week, does lots of patrols and general enemy killing everywhere I go. Not a single one has dropped for me. Ever. A sea of blue and green and nothing else. All of my legendary items were either bought, rewarded from activities as intact tangible items, or in the case of two specific items surprise drops from blue engrams. I think the game files installed on my PS4 with the model for a purple engram missing. For a while there I would get excited seeing a purple glow but it always turned out to be heavy ammo. I'm literally at the point I have given up even looking forward to finding one. I have come to the conclusion that they do not exist. Otherwise you'd think I would have seen one somewhere, ANYWHERE by now. I see people posting in here all the time that they *only* got two or three purples this week, or they got a purple that turned into an Ice Breaker or something. I think it's all fairy tales. Has anybody else made it to Level 28 without seeing a purple engram? Am I playing Destiny in some kind of alternate dimension?
