Fallout, Bioshock, and Elder Scrolls.

If you're fine with looking into the lore for a good story, I'd recommend Dark Souls, but be warned... it may or may not ruin 80-90% of games for you.

Umm... If you want a platformer, you could play Cave Story+. It's cool.
-
I suggest you get on The Witcher while the third one is close to release.

Edited by TheUnknownMerc: 12/1/2014 7:05:03 PM...depends what kind of gameplay do you like? for FPS we have bioshock 1,2,3 games, Deus Ex 1&2&3, System Shock 2, F.E.A.R. 1,2,3 (3 is more for closure...but definitally the first two). 3'rd Person Alan Wake, Spec Ops: The Line, Max Payne (1,2,3), The Last of Us for RPG with sprites we have legend of heroes trails in the sky, Ys is decent but mainly gameplay is better, still decent stories.... Most of the RPG ones with sprites you are better off going to PSN...i have shitloads there. RPG in general, The Witcher 1&2, Darksiders was pretty decent, Dragon Age: Origins and i guess 2...3 is pretty good, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1&2, Mass Effect 1&2&3, Valkyria Chronicles, Agarest Generations of war (don't quote me on this cause i haven't finished :/), Final Fantasy 7, 8...i guess 13....but 13-2 was better imho :/, can't remember if 12 is on there but if it is get it...and i can't remember if they put 6 on there but get that as well if it is on there.... uhhh...off the top of my head i can't remember i mostly play my story based games on my PSP (Modded for snes, nes, gameboy games) and my PSVita along with PS2...holy shit ps2 has a good amount. ...if it wasn't restricted to steam i would have more...

Kingdom hearts, dragon age, ratchet and clank, darksiders, fallout all I gave was the base titles obviously but the series of these games together paint a great story I feel.
