Atheon's Epilogue and Iron Regalia Boots auto rifle ammo capacity perk not compatible

System: XBOX One Character/Lvl: Hunter 30 First off, I can only speak for the Hunter Iron Regalia set as that is where the issue seems to be...no experience using other sets. Second, I understand that ammo capacity apparently cannot be boosted above 999 total rounds (auto rifle); or that at a minimum a player cannot stack two perks with same boost effect granted by two different pieces of equipment. Third, I have not tested equipment perk with another type of auto rifle to see if it is limited to just Atheon's Epilogue and Iron Regalia Boots combo. I intend to do some additional troubleshooting but wanted to post to see if there is something I'm missing or if it is a known issue. The issue is in regards to the Iron Regalia Boots no longer applying the Auto Rifle Ammo perk. I received the boots during the 2nd release of Iron Banner. I generally used the stability perk in PVP and would switch to ammo perk for PVE if utilizing Atheon's Epilogue. So at that point I thought to myself, "Awesome...ammo boost from boots and keep stability on from weapon perk". When I initially put that setup together it seemed to work like I'd expect, but everyone knows what they say about curiosity and the cat. I just had to see what would happen if I assigned ammo perk on Epilogue with boots equipped (i.e. stacking perks). The entirely expected and slightly disappointing result was that the numbers remained the same at 84 in mag with 999 total capacity. FYI normal is 70 mag and something like 700-800 total. What was unexpected was once I switched Epilogue back to stability, the ammo buff that the boots should have been applying no longer existed and numbers returned to normal capacity. I attempted to equip and unequip in various combinations both pieces, as well as varying the perk on Epilogue. Nothing I tried corrected the problem. Super, I managed to break my boots less than 30 min after receiving them....sigh. I would definitely appreciate posting of a solution if anyone else has run into this issue and resolved it. Perhaps it is simply a glitch and will be addressed in a subsequent patch/update. Worst case scenario I suppose at the very least I provided a laugh to others. Moral of the story: who needs that much ammo anyway.....don't get greedy or the Bungie Gnome will break your stuff.
