30- You leveled up gear(like it or not Iron Banner counts though i prefer raid gear) and and exotic to reach light level 30 True 30-You leveled up gear to reach 30 on every limb WITHOUT the need of an exotic gear(Iron Banner still counts like it or not) This should end the debate over 30 vs true 30, people are being so at war with this raid vs. Iron Banner gear stuff its so pointless us raiders know what goes in to being a raid 30 but lets not forget that for whatever reason some people chose or needed to use the crucible to get a piece or two to reach 30 the IB players will say they actually earned 30 because they had to grind reputation to get the gear everybody put it to rest.. you cant just walk up and become 30 in any way... it takes effort, maybe more for some than others but everyone has strong points and weak points so perspective difficulties will vary based on the player
