You may find art (Marathon Citadel, look it up in images. You'll find a very Vex-like thing. Cylon (modern type). Geth (Mass Effect series, maybe 1 because Sovereign and Heretics). Borg (design-wise and the time-travelling things to do with buildings (sort-of, see STO Borg terrain designs for more understanding))) to relate to Vex quite easily.
