I myself love destiny but I do have to agree with some of what was said. Very well put together. I remember in my WoW days you'd be hanging out at the auction house and then suddenly you see in general chat "Stormwind in under attack" Right then you'd stop what your doing, hurry to throw on your PVP gear and get ready to fight shoulder to shoulder with some random Allies to protect your city from killing everyone of importance. Besides the end game content and the massive world that each realm offered, this one part was the most fun that I actually had in game, it drove me to find the best gear so I could actually contribute to the defense of the allied cities.
Maybe they could look at doing something similar. Spawn random majors who's level and difficulty increase as the waves continue. Kind of like the protect the Warsaw PE, but on a bigger scale at the tower. Imagine getting a distress call while farming material that the city is under attack and we Guardians must defend it! I'd be stoked

Bungie's problem is they took the worst parts from MMOs and RPGs and tied them to their shooter model. Most of us who are unhappy are just wishing some of the good parts had made it into the mix. Realistically, Bungie had no idea what they were doing, because as devs they have no experience in those genres. I guess I should have seen this coming.
