A true 30 has multiple sets of gear he can change out based on the situation. Typically at least one full set of raid gear, though more likely multiple sets with high rolls of discipline, strength or intellect. They also have the boots and gloves from iron banner.
Their weapon collection is top notch, with multiple sets of 300 for all four elements that they know when and where the right tool will work.
Discrimination between PvP and pve does not occur to them but only for what gear they will be using to best tackle the challenge.
If you have not mastered both the come back when you get gud.

Well I'm screwd. I don't have all four elements. I only have three :\
-
I have done this. Feels good man
-
The true level 30 is when you hit level 30. Nothing else.
-
A true level 30 is when his level says 30...
-
My idea of a real 30 is someone that when you see their name.....
There is a number 30 next to it
-
my idea of a true 30 is someone lvl 30
-
I know this is counterproductive but can we all do these forums a boost and stop bumping this stupid post
-
30 is 30.
-
My idea of a true 30 is someone who is level 30.
-
LOL "True 30" will mean nothing in about a week and a half.
-

Edited by SERAPH-X7: 11/29/2014 12:09:47 AMBam nicely said! I have two and a half raid gear sets, all IB 2.0 gear, multiple attribute/300 weapons and all the Titan exotics. At the moment I'm playing around with making different builds. Right now I'm running a Intellect/Strength Defender with Helm of Saint -14. I could also run a Discipline/Strength build but I haven't really played with it that much. I just need more armor pieces for an Intellect/Discipline build. When it comes to that aspect of the game I'm hooked I'll admit, it just takes way too much time to acquire the gear. I was Lvl 29 for a good month plus and had to rely on exotic armor until the chest piece finally dropped. I know I'll probably be doing the same exact thing once the new DLC comes out. I might have to level up my other Titan which is gonna be a drag, I guess I'll get to it at some point. College is starting up in Jan so I don't know if I'll be balls deep in this game after that though... Just to be clear I have no problem with 29's or real/unreal 30's, that whole topic on this forum is just stupid. I mainly posted because I agree that a well balanced player has a good pool of gear/weapons for almost any type of occasion.

Sooo because I don't have IB gear, I am not a true 30?
-
I go to level 28 for aesthetic purposes I am level 30 for strategic purposes, such as the hard raid
-
Oh okay then :/
-
Go home your drunk

Rank does not matter, what you do out in battle does! Your rank reflects time put into the game not your skill!

Edited by KIngJS922: 11/28/2014 11:28:46 PMLevel 30 is not going to be the max forever, i wish people would stop trying to make shit special, you dont see me in another mmo with a max level of 50 go "this is what it means to be 50" knowing full on well the cap is getting raised to 60 in a week or two and probably will be raised again. Im not 30 yet, i will be once i decide to do the boring farming part and get a raid chest, but even if i was it wouldnt be a big deal because the cap is going to get raised no one knows how many times so it doesnt matter what a "real 30" is all that matters is that youre there.
-
Do you hear that? That's the sound of me not giving a -blam!-.
-
You described me with 3 30s
-
There are 4 elements! When did this become avatar?
-
Why do so many associate level 30 with skill? Being level 30 is like having a maxed weapon. You have the means to do well, but that doesn't mean you know what you are doing. No matter how much gear you have.
-
Lol thats basically what i did, bought many faction equipment to lower timers on abilities, reload speed, melee speed, etc. Then got one exotic to fill every slot (except boots of course) and at least one exotic and legendary in every weapon slot, i try to have at least one gun of every element in each slot as well such as my praedyths for sniping praetorians before they get close then the truth to finish them off.

My idea of a 30 is someone similar to me. A top raid player, who is good in any situation and can assist in any situation. A true level 30 doesnt have to have multiple sets of gear or even the best of the best weapons. You just have to know what ur doing. U cant be a player that got to level 30 in just a week of playing because ur friends helped you. U had to have made it by earning that title. If a level 28 or 29 can out do you then you cannot be a true level 30. Its all based upon your skill, not upon ur luck. That being said i have all three of my characters to level 30 and i didnt get iron banner past rank 3, i raid every week, i complete bounties, and above all else i help people
-
Ok you can put this behind you now, level 32 is on its way
-
Remind me of what all four elements are mate?
