Just Incase you don't know, there are 4 different types of VoGers, the Narcissist, the Helper, the Newbie and the BA Silent dude.
NOTE:
This thread is just for lolzies! Don't get offended if you happen to be one of them!
The Helper is the kind of guy who helps out the Newbies and tends to get things done.
The Newbie is a guy who has only played VoG a couple of times. They usually get yelled at by the Narcissist.
The Narcissist is the annoying guy who does not much but tells people what to do, and treats people like idiots if they ask a simple question.
Subsections:
Sias
The professional, he eats, breathes and sleeps the raid. If you have questions, go Blam!- yourself, noob. If you've never done a part a certain way, clearly you're holding the group back. If by chance you die in the hard raid you need to be kicked. The only person who can die is him, because you should have been there to help with that praetorian or obviously the game glitched. When you go back and check the stats, this world eating bad ass has the most deaths and the least kills.
Sias
The Mavericks, he'd just as soon run off on his own and blaze his own trail. He always knows the best routes and methods so why would he listen to the group. In the gorgon route he takes alternate paths, when it changes the Gorgon's path it's clearly your fault. He's gonna pick up the relic before anyone gets a chance, when he dies it was your fault you didn't help clear the mobs because you had to focus shots for oracles.
The BA Silent Dude is the one guy who doesn't talk a lot, only when important, but they tend to get fecal matter done. If they're the fire team leader, they tend to boot Narcissists.
Leaders:
Joeyoungfitz
They are the guys that are between the helpers and the narcissists. They lead the group and explain every step and everyone's role. They accept newbies or level 29 for hard raids if they can hold their own and listen and follow directions
Lap Dogs:
Sias,
The lap dog, this yes man is accompanying his friend who is the real deal. He spends the raid taking cues from said friend while ridiculing anyone else's mistakes. His actions ineptitude does not matter cause his boy is carrying you scrubs.
I tell everyone what i think we should do in raids i need to stop :P
-
Are you implying that the silent guy gets little to nothing done? Its just a question.... I'm guessing fecal relates to crap so they get a crapton done? or nothing
-
I'd like to think I'm either a Helper or a Leader, leaning towards Helper.

Edited by random15: 11/28/2014 10:05:16 PMI am a leader. Here are tips that not too many people know, and I have to end up telling my team: When playing hard raid and getting marked by oracle wait for the thing to say Marked by oracle x2, that way you only have to cleanse once and don't have to wait for it to recharge. In the portals, two people go in, one shoots 2 rpgs and leaves, so he doesn't get marked, and the other person finishes up the templar. When you get the shield jump up and spam melee, so you ''fly'' across all the enemies without getting shot and make it to the portal fast and save. During Atheon: After you open the portal, go and stand on top of it, that way the supplicants don't go near the portal, plus they can't kill you from down there. You can also shoot them and kill them once they spawn. In the portals: One grabs the shield and the other person helps him kill the mobs. One person can deal with the first oracle by himself. While in the middle holding the shield: Don't be near the wall or too in front, the splash damage will get you. And jump to the back and run as far away of supplicants so they don't kill you. I always find myself saying this kind of stuff in all my raid teams.

My mic broke so I guess im silent dude now lol
-
The Bull Sitter Will tell you a bunch of bull about how they have soloed confluxes and portals alike. In fact they're usually the first to die and just sit there watch you do werk.
-
Im very silent all the time just talking when really needed. Im not like that kind of gamers who talking all the time about everything. If they got a phone call not mute the mic so everyone can hear the conversation, laughing too much. Saying loudly. Im not saying they are annoying but almost... And there is a subclass in theese who trolling with the silent players. They are annoying. I like the players who is the combination of the helpers and the silent guys :)
-
I'm that guy that gets really annoyed when there's a unorganized team and I'm protecting a conflux by myself and I'm like HEY SOMEONE WANNA HELP!!! WTF IS JARJAR DOING STANDING AT THE OTHER PORTAL!! And then we die but I haven't had anyone take it personal yet
-
You forgot the afkers xD. One time I was playing VoG and one person when afk or 15 minutes to "pick up his pizza from Pizza Hut" LOL. Later just as we got to atheon he said he needs to have a ciggy xD. We waited another 10 minutes.
-
Everyone says they're the BA silent dude just because they don't say much lmao....
-
Lol all these people claiming to be the BA silent dude well I believe the BA silent dude wouldn't post in the forums that he was or need to toot his own horn.
-
I would say I'm a helper and the ba
-
I think anyone can guess what type of vog player I am.
-
Im the silent dude jajaja mostly because I don't speak fluent english and get nervous . Luckily most of the people I've played with arent a-holes, they even call me "My only Cuban friend" lol . Anyways yeah we Ba Silent Guys get it done.
-
Edited by Legend: 11/28/2014 3:54:27 PMLeader, except I don't usually get on to people if they are messing up a lot. I try a more calm approach and explain what I want them or the team to do.
-
BA silent dude for sure ;) lol
-
I'm definitely The BA silent
-
BA silent dude fits the description for me pretty well.
-
You get a good leader and raid goes smooth as ever. I love when someone coordinates our group effort then I go get sh&$ done.

Edited by HypernovaGN: 11/27/2014 9:46:00 PMThe Invincible Ignorant Annihilator (IIA) : Favorite Quote "Erm......what should I do again?" This one has no idea what he is doing in the raid. Has very little strategy and doesn't know anything about best routes or techniques. You constantly have to give this person orders and disaster strikes if he/she has to pick up the relic. But blast it all if the IIA isn't the best shot on the team and obliterates everything that causes a problem. Need that oracle killed? He/she takes it down before you can finish your sentence. Templar being a pain? Not when the IIA is there. Aethon still have a sliver of health left and glitches everyone but 1 to death? IIA is alive and got you covered. Is a valuable part of the team if the person is in tandem with Lap Dog's Real Deal or a good Leader is on the team. If not, usually the first to be kicked.
-
You forgot the backpack category; the one guy who solos mid during the gatekeeper while juggling two relics. AKA the guy who's doing 2 confluxes at once during legions due to carrying new people through the raid.
-
Definitely a helper, very good, accurate description have met them all the narcassist description is spot on, the raids are simple if everyone knows there roles if a couple don't it really is simple to get them through it, fed up of high levels criticising but not helping. I kick the narcassist given a chance Had a group that were absolutely sound everyone knew there were a couple of newbies but everyone was helpful all the way through right till Atheon when one guy particularly started to be a right arse, one of the guys wasn't comfortable with the relic but grabbed t because no one else did then sat too far back on Atheons platform, needless to say there was a wipe and the guy (my friend) got such a hard time from this dickhead, patience and calm wins the fight I assure you
-
Me not sure what I should be considered...
-
...........
-
BA silent dude for the WIN, The only time i talk is if they forgot an oracle or they are being ridiculously stupid
-
Where is the "Confused Stoner" category?
