Currently it extends the duration of tripmine grenade by about 20 more seconds. This armor piece is clearly designed for PvP and the biggest problem with tripmines are that they can be shot and destroyed easily. It'd be cool if Young Ahamkara's Spine extended the duration and made tripmines undestroyable.

Nah, i think it should make the tripmine last either until you die, or until someone destroys it or trips it.

that's why you throw them on walls. - i use them in a way that when I see people capturing my point I throw it behind them or on the side of them. I'm make sure that when I throw it , it lands facing towards the enemy and it's a OHK. I've gotten double , triple and four kills at once. love it.

If someone is shooting your tripmines they deserve the kill.

This thread has been recreated numerous times. It doesn't need a buff, you need to learn to use them. Your tripmines are being shot? throw them somewhere that's out of sight! ie, past a doorway that they HAVE to walk through to even see the grenade.

Or perhaps if it did something related to melee. It is an arm piece Exotic after all, with bones and spikes, so it makes more sense than trip mines.
