Hey everyone. So I understand some of you don't do the whole PvP thing so this doesn't apply to you. But anyway if you do play PvP im not gonna get into the balance problems and all the other problems but I come here to say ONE thing.....If you are playing a team based PvP mode then don't just take the heavy ammo by yourself like a selfish prick. This puts your team at a huge disadvantage with one person only having the heavy ammo...SO WHEN THE HEAVY AMMO DROPS JUST DON'T BE GREEDY AND SELFISH AND TAKE IT RIGHT AWAY WAIT FOR A COUPLE OF YOUR TEAMMATES TO COME SO THEY CAN GET IT AS WELL....Like when you're the only who takes it and the other team 3 or 4 members get heavy ammo might as well surrender...I understand there is cases that you do have to take it right away or steal it from the enemy side but if no enemy is around just PLEASE wait for your teammates to come and get the ammo as well just wait a couple seconds to see if your teammates are coming to pick it up you don’t have to wait for hours at least be courteous and check and see if anyone's on their way...thanks bye now.
-
^This I always wait as long as possible for my teammates before picking up. Too many times I was a second away and someone just picks it up and runs off and none for me or anyone else.
-
I didn't know this before the IB. Wish someone would have told me sooner.
-
-blam!- that. Too many times I've been waiting for my team and we all get wiped out by the other team who now has both heavy ammo stacks, so now.i just take that shit.unless someone is close but as soon as a red blip on radar pops up i'm taking it and running. If you hear them call out heavy ammo inbound get your ass to the heavy box or cry about missing it. It's up to you.
-
You do realise that extra heavy ammo is dropped for teammates nearby when the boxes are opened? It gives just as much ammo as the person who got to it first.
-
If people would recognized when its about to drop and be close enough to secure it. Sometimes they need to be taught a lesson and maybe then they will get there quicker next time to avoid missing out.
-
Heavy ammo drops have a set amount of ammo. Only a certain amount of teammates can pick it up.
-
Sorry but when im going to probably outscore everyone on my team and carry them to a victory im going to take it. Im not trying to sound like im always the best because im not but ive had countless games I had ti carry others and as of too date my highest score on control is 7200 thats almost half of the needed score too win and considering there is six teammates and 20000 divided by 6 is about 3300 poinrs needed per person and honestly how many people do you see even score 3300
-
Only one thing to say, if you wait too long the enemy team could reach you then Boom! Three rockets hit you simultaneously and you just gave the enemy more heavy ammo nice job" Team Player"
-
Just don't be overly nice and wait TOO long. I made that mistake last night and got a rocket to the face.
-
Yeah but when the suck ass team I have (when I'm not playing with my homies) doesn't make it in time to the heavy...I take it. That's it.
-
I didn't know the heavy ammo did that I always thought it was first come first serve since everyone rushes to it and takes it for themselves.
-
One of "those guys" who type in all caps? ;)
-
So true, but even more annoying are those dots on the radar you are waiting for and then just run by. I'd say 75 percent of the people aren't even listning to the announcement. Same goes for a lot of players not knowing that the more zones you control the more points you get for a kill. How often have I tried to capture a point and people just ran along not helping me. So to all of you unaware of the rules: the more people are in the cricle, the faster it's ours! ;-)

Edited by Elastoplastic: 11/27/2014 6:27:02 PMI wait. But if no ones on the map within a couple of seconds im grabbing that shit. We stand a better chance of i take it and wipe their heavy guys out rather then wait until the whole team gets crushed by rockets
-
There's enough for three players every time.
-
Yeah, that's one of the quickest ways to lose in a serious game. If the enemy loads up on heavy ammo and your team's got none, you're screwed.
-
I wait as long as I can before I see red on the radar. It would help if more people joined the Team chat so we could communicate to the others if they are on there way to the Heavy or if we should just take it. Team chat is there for the reason. The past 40 games (I kid you not), Ive met ONE guy in the team chat with me....
-
I'll take if I'm the only one on my team and I notice red radar blips around me. Better I get it then the enemy.
-
I just completely ignore them. I honestly rarely use my secondary/heavy. I always use my primary
-
ill take it if no team members are nearby (and i mean within a good distance) but if i can see them heading for me, ill wait. (unless its my buddy, then i just say hahahaha as i take it.)
-
I thought you were someone i played but nah i wouldn't take the ammo for no reason... I wait a couple seconds then if my team mates run away from the ammo like jack asses then i definitely grab it on the spot sometimes enemies take me down and score on a box cause im too mice and wait
-
Very good point. I hate realizing the heavy ammo is available only to get there a second late because my team couldn't wait to pick it up
-
I took the heavy ammo and ran into the water at earth map
*evil laugh*
-
It's mine and I don't have to share if I don't want to...hahahaha sucka
-
I'd say campers and/or guys with shotties are more annoying.
-
I don't wait for randoms at heavy, because if they die with it (which they will, because randoms are terrible), then they'll just give the other team even more heavy ammo. Never trust randoms. If you're good enough to do well with heavy ammo, then you should know exactly when and where it's spawning, so you'll be there on time.
