Vault access from orbit
So I can't be the only one annoyed with getting gear from one character to another? Log in, travel to tower, vault, change char, travel to tower, vault, NOW you can join that fire team.
Why not allow access to items from orbit? We can teleport sparrows and stuff, why not Gjallahorns?
I also think it may lighten server loads? Can only be a good thing.

2 RepliesGood idea, but mostly I'd like them to let you transfer items through the companion app. You can already equip items through it, I don't think it would take much more coding.

Either this or log in direct to tower. Logging in to orbit is kinda like waking up to discover you sleepwalked out to the street. Come to think of it, being able to select destinations from surfaces of planets would be good too

Seems logical that you would store your gear on the ship you use. Not to mention your ghosts can summon a gate keepers head... Why not your spare gear?

Could have some kind of vault in space at orbit. Storing it on each characters ship wouldn't make much sense. The app would probably be easiest

Yes, yes. Instead of the vault access in just orbit. How about just through the companion in general. Not only will this be helpful, but it gives the companion the reason to exist.

2 RepliesYeah I cant tell you how annoying I find it that it can take 3-5 minutes to switch from one character to the another and swap the gear over. If I have just run our weekly normal mode no death run attempt (which I do on my Titan who is only level 28) and we are getting ready for our weekly Hard Mode run (which I do on my level 30 Hunter) it requires way too much time. I have to leave the fireteam, go to the Tower to deposit weapons in the Vault, change characters, travel to the tower again to pick up the weapons, and then I can join back up with my fireteam. The load times are unbelievable. Either make it so we spawn in the Tower when we choose a character or allow Vault access from Orbit because something needs to happen.

3 RepliesSure, as long as it is no longer shared between characters. Since each has their own ship. The benefit of this is essentially triple the vault space. Good idea.

Or how about quick changing characters while at the tower. You could then adjust gear, get bounties, do some vendoring all you want before taking back to the stars.

Great idea... it only costs time to go to the tower and swap your gear... there's no benefit from it
