1 ReplyI've cheesed Atheon a whooping 1 time, wasn't a fan. There is no grey area between 30s, you earn it either way. You can get to rank 4 in IB being completely awful at PvP. You can get carried through the raid if you're not a complete idiot. Level 30 is level 30..period.

I have the ib shader if that counts for anything decided to buy boots, cloak, and shader didnt have enough glimmer to get the gauntlets

So before ib we had this dumb ass lvl 29 vs lvl 30 shit. And after it's who's a "real" lvl 30 and who's not. The fuk is wrong with this community .30 is 30 in a couple weeks it won't mean nothing and even after people reach lvl 32 it still won't mean nothing.

Yes, because every piece of Raid Gear is only awarded when cheesing fights. That just shows how stupid y ou are to assume all Raiders cheese it. I don't like cheesing (I will admit to doing it a few times on hard because the group wasn't doing well otherwise) but I have completed it at least 11 times fully and have not cheesed (except the cases stated above) so I am offended you think this and I think you should understand that there are plenty of people who put hours into the raid to get that gear.

2 Replies1 person is more important to the success of a raid then any PVP match. You can still win a game and absolutely suck that round. Doesn't work that way in the Raid....there's no hiding from your suckiness

3 RepliesI spent ONLY Saturday and Sunday playing IB. I'm not that great at PvP. KD is barely over 1 overall I think. But I got to level 5 by Sunday night. You don't have to be good to get ranks in IB. Just have to play it a lot. I even got Timur's Lash and the Ship. Haha. I bought the Shader to show my "superiority". Why do I need the gear? It's not that great, I like the raid gear a lot better. Fits my play style better and it already had the attributes I wanted. I'd say people with full raid gear (including helmet) AND the lvl 5 iron banner shader are the real masters. ;)

Sadly I've had zero time for destiny in a while, but I gotta say this makes more sense than the people who complain about raid tier IB gear
