I've noticed that Axion bolt is powerful and useful but I honestly think that the tracking on it is riding the short bus. Sometimes I use this grenade with great effect and sometimes I wish I had selected scatter grenade instead. Situation 1: You throw it right in front of an enemy. It whiffs. No damage done to the target, it doesn't go after them if they run (even with the ability selected to give it a larger tracking radius) and as you see it dissolve before your very eyes you wonder why the hell you even bothered to throw it. Situation 2: in PvE you throw it at an enemy that just happens to duck behind a crate. You're like, "Whatever, my axion bolt will get it so i'm going to keep on trucking. About 3 seconds later you hear gunfire and turn around, there's your bolt helplessly trying to get around that crate and the Dreg is just chilling and shooting at you. Situation 3: You throw it and wonder where it went. The target went in one direction and your grenade went in another. x.x I don't expect the grenade to do all of the work for us but can the tracking on this thing be looked at. I honestly don't think it's working the way it should and sometimes it not even activating is what costs me some of my deaths in crucible. It already does reduced damage compared to other grenades and I've never seen it kill a player outright unless they had half health or something so I don't think it tracking a little better would be too overpowered.
